This short video introduces the noise cancelling feature of Sony’s new WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones.
The video opens on a young male wearing WH-1000XM6 headphones, sitting on his bed in front of an open window, where noisy city sounds drift in. Titles read “1000X SERIES x Post Malone”.
A guitar lies beside him, as he writes lyrics into a notepad, struggling to focus on writing amidst the noise of the city and passing trains.
We cut to a close up of the 1000X’s as he activates his noise cancellation with a button-push on the headphones, and the city sounds fade away, under the caption “The best noise cancelling”. Into the silence the Post Malone track ‘Sign Me Up’ fades in. The young man looks up and we cut to a poster of Post Malone performing in a smokey arena on the opposite wall of his bedroom. Smoke starts to drift from the poster as the image starts to come to life.
We cut to a low shot in front of the wall, and boot stepping onto the floor amidst a waft of smoke coming from the arena in the poster.
Cutting to a wider shot, we see Post Malone himself is now strumming his guitar inside the bedroom.
The young man is still on his bed in the foreground, wearing headphones on and re-focused on his writing, as Post Malone smiles at him and moves to lean against the wall beside the window, seemingly performing a private intimate concert for the young man, under the caption "Your music, nothing else".
The video ends with a product image and the title “WH-1000X M6 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones”, followed by the animated "For The MUSIC" then Sony logos.
