Worst tv I have ever purchased. I have to reset my remote every single time I want to use this thing. It is so frustrating. I’m throwing it away.

Fantastic experience with this tv Easy to setup and pleasure to watch

I purchased this tv based on recommendations from Best Buy employees that best suited my budget and needs. I purchased the tv 4/21/2024 and on 9/6/2025 the tv was intermittent flashing on and off and developed white lines through the tv. I went through there digital support process and the next day when I called support they made me reduce the process. After all said and done I was told that it was out of warranty by 5 months and that they could only recomend a service technician to come out and fix but on my dime but the funny part is they never sent me the info to there recommended service technician so I bought a new (different brand) tv due to my dissatisfaction with how Sony support was unhelpful and how they did not back there product.

Expensive 75” TV and I got a dead pixel (black dot) in middle of screen just 6 months after warranty expired. I will not be wasting money on any more Sony TV’s. Cheaper to replace than repair it.

This was supposed to be cutting edge technology? You must be joking. Dark spots began to appear after 2 years. TV was not mishandled in any way. Has been in the same spot since delivery. Last Sony product we ever buy. This purchased was absolutely a complete waste of money. Sony should be ashamed to put out such poor quality product.

After 4 days, the screen is dark with color stripes, have to return it, still waiting for the new one.

This TV IS great absolutely brilliant for the ps5 120 hz And vrr also great for movies I love it the only down side is that I will you could cut the power to the usbs at the back

Bought 2 years ago and suddenly stopped working. It's out of warranty, so they won't even fix it. Sony sells bad products and then refuses to take accountability for them. Horrible product, horrible company

To is good, sound could be better but still very happy, unfortunately it came with 14 days free PlayStation plus, but code provided did not work, so what’s the point Sony? Tried to contact Sony, but no reply, will think twice on my next product now

Hello I bought this TV about 2 years ago, but recently I have had a problem where the TV won't turn on, and when I unplug it and plug it back in, it goes to the Google logo stage and then turns off. I spoke to the repairman and they said the motherboard needs to be replaced, which is really worrying.

Bought this TV on 11/12/22! Went out on 2/6/25. This is how long this TV lasted! Probably has 1000 hours or less and it was just a bedroom TV. Went through the process in getting it to come on but nothing worked and now I have to buy another one or get this fixed but it’s going to cost me as much as paid for it! Never will I buy another Sony again!

I bought this three weeks ago only to find out it was a $100.00 cheaper at Walmart and they would price match or offer a reduction or gift card . They said I can box it up and return and then repurchase. That was the dumbest thing I have ever heard . Now the TV is excellent in my opinion it’s my second Sony led tv. I had the 65 inch of this model and now I have the 75 inch as well . It has an amazing picture,the sound is even good from the tv only , but my 65 inch has the Sony sound bar and subwoofer in the living room . My man cave has the 75 since my wife has taken over 65 in the living room . My old Sony 42 inch lcd tv from 2012 is still kicking . I gave it to my nephew who is a gamer he loves it !

We had a previous Bravia 55” television for almost 12 years. It was a good run, but it was time for an upgrade.

Second one, quit working in a week. The first one arrived not working

Sony software updates are making my Sony TV remote unusable, by disabling features on the remote and disabling features in the settings. I have tried contacting Sony about these issues, but no response.

Bought this TV over a month ago. Always thought Sony products excellent . However this doesn’t give Freeview and not very enamoured with the Google TV app

Had this a couple of months already, and am ecstatic to say that the 120 Hz native resolution is awesome!

Was told Sony TV's had better, updated electronics than Samsung. Constantly have to do software updates, unplug, wait, plug-in again. Even then, get the spinning wheel. Very frustrating when it happens in the middle of a game or program. I will NEVER buy a Sony TV again. Samsung all the way!!

I opted for this Sony over the competition and regret that decision. This set came "equipped" with an electronic glitch that required two trips back to the dealer before Sony finally replaced the Master Board. I will never be happy with this set. Just waiting for it to fail again.

We're very satisfied with with quality and sound. Most of using for movies so definitely it does what we expected. Highly recommend.

I bought this instead of Samsung because of the optical cable to connect to my soundbar, although it's connected to my soundbar, I can't control the volume with the TV remote 🤦🏾 Also the free movies offered by Sony are difficult to locate, it only offers paid for movies. Apart from these, the TV is beautiful ❤️

I’ve always been a Sony guy, from all the PlayStation’s including the newest Ps5 to a Sony BluRay and of course a 7.2 channel surround sound system, the Tv is performing as expected. The apps are easy to use and the picture quality is great! Thanks Sony

I bought a Sony Bravia KD-85X85K in August of 2024. Overall I was pretty happy with it until Sept 2024 rolled in and I started losing audio on the internal TV speakers. I followed every troubleshooting step to resolve the issue, removed all external connections and reset it to factory default to no avail. I decided to run audio through eArc to my home theater system for a little over a week and surprisingly, the internal speaker miraculously started working. Today, the audio just faded and started to get staic sound. Restarted, cold boooted. to no avail. checked for system updates which it found. After completing the system update. The system still had no audio and it just started shutting down within minutes, the the LED blinks 3 times. Did my research and it appears it is indicative of a system board issue. Basically. it’s toast!! I saw quite a bit of community posts with the same experiences. Really disappointed for a Sony product that only lasts 2 years. I still have my Samsung and Sharp 1st generation LCD TVs in 1080P working with no issues.

This the good TV, according to Digital Trends. It offers impressive brightness levels, even in sunny rooms, thanks to its anti-glare screen. It also has excellent black levels and rich colors. It's a great choice for anyone looking for a high-quality TV that can be used in a variety of settings.

Everything works great, and it has an amazing picture. Sony has very good upscale technology and that is important because other then movies not much is broadcast in 4k, so upscale ability is something to keep in mind when buying a tv. It has a 120 hz native panel which you need in 2024. It has a 3.0 tuner built in so you are all set when Next Gen begins. Unfortunately the remote that comes with it is not good, the buttons feel fragile, it feels like it’s going to break, it is not what you expect to get when you purchase a Sony TV. I personally upgraded to the Sony TX621 Remote because it has a backlight, its faceplate is metal, it’s sturdy, the buttons feel strong, the whole remote is sturdy, & It is what you expect to get with a Sony TV purchase. I purchased 3 Bravias before and this is the only one with a bad remote. Sony used to go out of there way using high quality materials on there remotes, and hopefully they will get back to that. The TV is everything you expect from a Sony. I recommend purchasing this model.

I bought this tv for my ps5 and it has surpassed my expectations and is great for movies and sports

I bought this tv because the last sony tv i had i really liked. not the case with this one. it responds slow and freezes frequently. it will go to a " connecting to video" graphic which i dont know why. and sometimes it will go to a "connecting to tv" graphic. i really dislike this tv and wish i could return it.

Very good TV the colors are good. The gaming‘s are good. Good TV and a half for the price not bad.

I purchased almost a month ago, and have no regrets with my new TV purchase whatsoever, it is literally light years better than my previous "budget TV", better picture, better sound, better looking on my wall, and so much more incredibly faster response ! I can't believe I've been living like a caveman for so long.... Thanks Sony

I will never buy Samsung or LG again. The Sony is so simple to use and the image is exceptional.

This tv has never worked properly and I’m in the middle of trying to get Sony to replace it!

I found an open box tv and it had been a Sony 4k TV that I have wanted for a long time. I love everything about this TV. Excellent picture, apps work great, set up was simple and interactive.

Sony tv's are the best. Picture quality is different level.

This tv does not provide full screen on internal apps Only by hooking up an external device on hdmi will this tv allow for full screen. Had I known this, I would have never bought one. This will be my first and last Sony. I am very unhappy with my purchase

Purchased this almost 18 months ago, so many features I am still discovering ! Picture is fantastic, Sound is the only weak point, but after playing with settings, it's more than acceptable. Great value too !

Bought this to replace a Samsung and glad I switched.

I bought this to replace a 65” Bravia after I decided to build my daughter a bedroom out of most of the living room. It fills the smaller space nicely and has a picture just as good as the larger tv. Sony makes a great product

I purchased this TV a month ago when my other quit working, it wasn't a Sony but I have 2 49 inch 3D TV's that are and have lasted me 10 years, Sony makes a great product and will last you for years trouble free, this recent Sony 75 inch has a great picture without running the vivid setting, it pairs up great with my home entertainment system and PS 5, also my DVD player, it's a great investment for you and your family

The TV has a good picture when viewed from the front. Any angle viewing is distorted. The TV takes a minute or more for the sound to settle down when turned on. I use mine with a 5.1 system which is much better sound that the included speakers. The software is weird. I am still figuring out how to quickly change channels without scrolling through the entire list. Other software features just strike me as peculiar even when I figure out how to use them.

This is my 2nd Sony tv purchase and it is better than the first except for gge remote control. The picture is clear and brilliant and brings out whatever you ate watching on the screen. The only issue is the plain remote which has no option to control a program playback.

Bought this 18 months ago and it has been up on the wall since day one. Now getting vertical and horizontal lines across the whole screen. I did not notice about the 5 year warranty if I registered it within the specified time limit. if you are going to offer a 5 year warranty for registration why not just offer a 5 year warranty unconditionally. very dissatisfied with this TV. I expected it to last a reasonable amount of time considering the purchase price.

I wanted to buy a TV which wasn't OLED but with OLED picture quality and I chose Sony X85K 42". After using it for only 15 minutes I am glad I chose this model. It has OLED color and contrast plus handles color gradiation better than most OLED models. I have OLED monitors and can honestly say this Sony is comparable with picture quality and contrast and better in brightness and is truly flicker free so its easy on the eyes. Great value for the money.

It keeps getting internet off. I always says Prime Video. It is only TV in the house that does this.
